Can Do All

I was wandering along on the Internet and came across this video. First I thought, that is really special that the father would take his handicap son out on a triathlon. Well, that is what I think it is, where you run, swim and bike.

As I watched this video I thought to myself, God only gives the privilege for certain people to take on a challenge like that. The ones who can handle it I think. Maybe the ones who God knows that they will do right by taking care of God's child.

I have known some people who have had this privilege and have done a fine job. God bless them for doing well.

This man will be truly rewarded in Heaven some day. Also, I cried during watching this video and was so happy to see the smile on this kids face as his father did this event. I know doing that would be difficult just for the individual himself let alone having another one to carry, push or swim with. All that extra weight. Yet, the father did not care about that and did not think it was such a burden. Just like our Heavenly Father. He does not think that we are a burden or a hindrance to Him. He will carry us through too.

Enjoy your day! God bless!

I'm in tears too! I read about this Father-son team but it was so amazing to actually see them. The son was so happy when they crossed the finish line. I love your comparison to God helping us.

Shelly that is such a wonderful story! My sister showed it to me a few years ago on Thanksgiving and I think I bawled for hours! What tremendous love and devotion! God does indeed give us what he knows we can handle! Some of our problems stem from not believing him enough!

BTW Thanks for the award! It was very sweet! I will be post it soon!

Shelly,

You made me cry this morning. I have seen this video before but don't think that I have ever put it up on my blog.

Maybe it is about time I do that.

Blessings, Joanne
