A Cousins Love

Here are a few pictures that I just love. Shawn and Noah playing in the buttercups at Katie and Wade's wedding. This was in Pennsylvania at the end of May. Beautiful Weather. Noah just loves his Cousin Shawn (Shawn loves him too). You always here Noah saying, "SAWN, SAWN, SAWN". It is so cute! Shawn is so gentle with Noah too. Too bad they did not live closer to here so they can spend more time together. We all had a great time visiting family then.

This is Shawn. How handsome is he?

This is Noah, so energetic, full of life and adorable.

A NIGHT AT THE RACES

We all went to the Berlin Raceway in Marne and had a great time. It was fun picking out which car we wanted to have win. The weather was perfect for it and there was a huge breezed when the cars were speeding around the track.

There was a variety of three different type of cars racing.

This was a huge crash. All of a sudden after turn four as they were heading to turn one I seen some cars breaking near the finish line and you could see smoke from their tires and as we looked ahead to see why they were breaking we see the bottom end of a car as it landed on top of another car.

WE all had a good time. There was one funny situation when we were walking around to go get a shirt for a resident that we take care of and this guy kept saying to Faith, YOUR POCKET, YOUR POCKET! We look to see if she dropped something and said to him, WHAT? He said, YOUR POCKET and shook his head as he kept walking away. Yep, you guessed it, he was really drunk! We did get a laugh out of it though.

This Friday we are going to go to the school bus races. That should be fun and interesting. I have never seen the bus races and I hear it is pretty funny.

Portland Lighhouse, Maine

Thought that I would post some more pictures of when we were in Maine. This is when we went to the Portland Lighthouse.

The whole family is here. Shawn, Me, Tom, Amanda, Sara, Connor, Mason, Dad Vandlen, Mitchell, Mom Vandlen

Tom and I at the lighthouse. There were so many beautiful areas to take pictures while we were on a walkway.

Tom and I at the lighthouse. There were so many beautiful areas to take pictures while we were on a walkway over to some fort where that was the hideout to from some war. I will have to find out more info on that. It was neat walking around.

This is Shawn, acting all cool. Wanted more of a professional photo taken. He cracks me up!!!!

This is Mitchell with the peace signs holding over his Cousin Connor (on left) and his brother Mason on the right. That direction is as if you are looking at them, not Mitchell's left and right.
Also, the shirts that Connor and Mason have on are cool. They look all black and white then in the sun the spaces fill up with color. The name of that company is Del Sol. Great idea.
The Company Del Sol also had fingernail polish, jewelry, shorts, shirts. They all change color with the rays of the sun.
This is right by the lighthouse and I just like to take pictures. I like pictures of rocks and water too.
Hope you all enjoyed these. I will have to do more later.
Enjoy your day!

Messing around at work!!!! Ha ha!

Hello Everyone!

How are all of you doing?

Ever go to work and wonder what a coworker might trick you on in a day?

Well, my friend Mari told me that I should write something on my blog how I am always messing with Nancy and her and other employees at work. All in fun of course and need to make the day more interesting.

She wanted me to tell you this: Today, Mari was sitting at the nurses station at the computer and she was distracted by others talking and what she was doing on the computer. Then all of a sudden, I get this crazy idea to tip my fingertips in water and hold above Mari's head until the drop of water dripped on top of her head. She hesitated in thinking you could tell, then looked up to see if something was dripping on her. (I was standing behind her and she did not know it). Then after she went back to what she was doing, I did it again. She wiped the top of her head and then she looked up and I could not hold the laugh in. She said "SHELLY--I should have figured it was you. I need to be on the lookout now that you are back to work"!

Several of us thought it was funny and then proceeded to go back to work.

Anyone else have any fun stories or pranks to tell about work or wherever?
